The "Maldives Renewable Energy Forum 2026”

The forum, held on May 21st at Hulhule Island Hotel, was attended by high-ranking government officials, investors, and technical experts in the field. During the panel discussions, Deputy Minister Mr. Hussain Aqeel Naseer participated and spoke regarding the necessary transformations within the Maldivian energy sector.
The forum primarily focused on increasing solar energy capacity and developing energy storage systems. Furthermore, extensive discussions were held on investment-based project implementation models and the opportunities available to achieve the Maldives' environmentally friendly energy targets.
